But the thing for which you are reading this blog is the recipe of my green chutney, so yes, like you, I also have my own recipe which I am going to share with you all today.
Why I love this green chutney recipe?
The answer to that is as simple as it gets. Because it’s so yummy and delicious. After all, tit is made in just minutes, there are so many versions of it and much more. BTW why do you like it? You can tell that in the comments.

Ingredients for the Spicy Green Chutney Recipe
Ok, enough of talking. Now let’s find out about the ingredients that will be required for this.

- Fresh coriander leaves (1 bunch)
- Mint leaves (optional, a handful)
- Green chilies (2–4 depending on spice preference)
- Garlic cloves (2–3 for a strong kick)
- Ginger (½ inch piece)
- Lemon juice (1 tbsp)
- Salt (to taste)
- Water (as needed for blending)
Well, I have written a few more things but you can do some things more or less as per your convenience & taste preference.
Step-by-Step Green Chutney

1. Prep the greens
First of all, wash all the things thoroughly with water. And make sure that no dirt is left.
2. Add to blender
Now what, just put everything in the blender and grind it. But yes, remember not to grind it for too long. I like this chutney a little coarse, what about you?
4. Taste and adjust
At the end, taste it a little to check if the salt and all. is okay or not, add lemon juice and enjoy.
If you believe me, then you should add less salt when you make it for the first time. Because later you can add more but can’t make it less again! 😅

Pro Tips for the Perfect Green Chutney every time.
- Always use fresh coriander – wilted leaves will change the taste and color.
- Use chilled water while blending to keep the chutney bright green.
- Keep in the fridge: in the fridge — it stays fresh for 3–4 days easily.
- Don’t over-blend — overheating during blending can make the chutney bitter.
Variations You Can Try

As I said earlier, there is no single recipe for this, but you can make it any way you want:
- For example, adding a little curd for sandwiches.
- Or adding jaggery or sugar instead of chilli for a sweet-sour taste.
- Or skipping garlic if you want to make it a little simpler.
